While at this facility visiting my loved one I encounter the sweetest cna I believe her name was lidia. She was kind and I noticed that she seemed to really care about the patients her vibe was very positive and uplifting.

We recommend considering alternative care facilities for your loved ones. We question the operational standards of this establishment, particularly its 5-star rating. It is unclear how a patient’s condition could improve in such an environment. During a recent observation period, we did not witness staff adhering to proper hand hygiene protocols before or after patient care. We also noted the presence of food crumbs in a patient’s bed on multiple occasions, despite the patient being NPO. Furthermore, a CNA was observed attempting to provide a call button to a patient who, according to their chart, was unable to utilize it, indicating a lack of thorough patient assessment. While there were some commendable CNAs and nurses, several significant issues were identified. The air conditioning unit contained mold, and the curtains were found to be dusty and soiled, necessitating their removal. We would assign a negative rating if possible. The facility’s claims of improvement over negative reviews and feedback are unsubstantiated. We advise prospective clients to consider all negative reviews as accurate. The assertion of new ownership and management does not mitigate the impact of substandard staff performance. Finally, we question the appropriateness of children being present in the workplace, especially in a facility that is already struggling to provide adequate care.

My mom has been at Cherrydale for 18 months for rehabilitation and now a long-term resident. We are very pleased with the rehabilitation and care she is receiving. While it is an older building (they are in the middle of a re-fresh), the care has been unmatched compared to other facilities in recent years. As with any business no one is perfect… but Cherrydale has always been open/receptive to hear if we had any issues and have made us feel heard when we’ve had a question. That means a lot! It takes more than one hand to list the staff members in various areas at Cherrydale that make us feel like ‘family’ every day!

I came to Cherrydale for short term rehab and am glad I did! I feel so much better! The staff treat you like your family. I will miss everyone, especially Jay! and really appreciate the help I was given.

The staff not friendly at all the hallway smells so bad the CNA don’t do their job on taking care the resident they don’t change their diapers and I always have to change my mom

I have been here for short term and enjoyed the therapy, and now I am here as a long term patient. I have made this my home and can say that I love the staff here. They treat you like family. I always talk to Cheyenne and Gina and Jennifer, they make time for me even when they are busy. My wife is a patient here too. I love my nurses and CNA’s, they are good.

I believe the name was Morris…Jennifer Morris, I had to do some research on her….the lack of attention and detail had me really worried…Upon my research I come to find out she had been working for a troubled teen center in New York…”Freedom Village USA” (Was shutdown) I just wished this company did thorough background checks for there staff.. Your service is working for people in need and resources…Please we ask that you offer this with your staff to insure that people in there most need of time gets the help and resources available… Thanks Sircely, John

0 stars my brother was taken there yesterday he was there they say 30 minutes they called Ems to come get him take back to the hospital. The hospital transport him back there. They argued with transport outsude @ 10:30 at night saying he was not a patient there and they could provide the care he needs. The nurse told me yesterday that the short time he was he said he wanted to leave she said she didn’t know what to do that they could have gave him a xngnex to clam him done he has never done any drug in his life very this is very unprofessional the place needs to be shut down I am going to talk with my lawyer this morning

My younger sister is a patient at CherryDale Post Acute facility in Greenville. Normally, I wouldn’t complain, but I find most of the nurses on day shift are not always approachable. I get the “WHAT” face reaction. The hallways are ugly and half painted. My Sister lay in her poop and urine until someone finally comes around. Last, the front desk area is a mess.

So glad to see the temp actions. Long overdue. Staff is great and they along with the people they serve the upgrade.

Recently my mother-in-law was sent here for rehab after a stay in the hospital. We were very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, and friendly staff. On behalf of my mother-in-law and our family, we wanted to say thank you for everything.

My father was at this facility and they went out the way to take care of him. He is really picky with the food he likes and the dietary manger and staff made sure he was happy with his food. I just wanted to send a shoot out to Benjamin and his staff thank you for all that you do.

Everyone is so nice and carrying! Cherrydale Acute Care took excellent care of my brother BJ. The therapists coached him back mentally, physically and nutritionally to the way my family remembered him years ago. When I say they take pride in helping one’s family member, they really excels. The cleanest is very good and the nurses at all levels are exceptional and this also includes the administration staff when you first walk in. Yes, it is really a 5 star facility and we would suggest Cherrydale Acute upper management review their pay and benefits and be competitive with other top notch facilities, seriously! My brother is back to his independence and my family gives thanks to Cherrydale. Invest funds in the employees and the facilities which can only guarantee success. Thanks Cherrydale.

Our family has been with the facility for 11 years. After my family and the staff built a relationship with the safe, it’s been a good fit for our family. Thanks for making the Bowens’s family life easier assisting my parents.

I have been a long resident to this facility. A long the way I have met some amazing people. The staff is amazing they are very transparent. I’d like to recognize some of them by name if I may Cheyenne, Gina and Jennifer the wonderful job they did making me feel like I was at home at all times. Also the nurse practitioner Angela did a wonderful job assuring that I got the proper medicine as needed. I can go on and on about the wonderful physical therapy team / O T staff this facility have.I should recognize Jay ,Angie , Brian,Karel the wonderful job they do.The OT staff Suzie,Hanna,Casey is simply amazing. I also want to recognize Nakayla she’s the medical record Director and HIP Professional ..The nurses and CNA’S here are absolutely amazing.

Administration of this facility works hard to keep service on high level. They listen to the opinion and desires of people and do everything possible to please them. The kitchen fo delisious food. Great facility to live there!

Madison Taylor has been amazing. She has kept in contact to get things schedule for my aunt who stays there and helped with other issues that need onsite eyes. We live over 2 hours away, and Madison has been WONDERFUL!!

Staff members appear disengaged, which is understandable on tough days, but it’s crucial to remember that nurses are often the primary point of contact for patients. I suggest investing in customer service training and encouraging the DON to take a more active role in overseeing daily operations. It’s concerning that some staff members seem unfamiliar with patient care plans. Consistent issues with showers, water, and food quality have also been a challenge for my loved one. Fortunately, a kind and attentive outsider friend ensured her well-being when family couldn’t be present due to being in a different state and she took the heat from a few staff members with simply asking for my love one.
